Galmere Takes Home Four Blas na hEireann Irish Foods Awards

Blas na hEireann is one of, if not the biggest, competition for quality Irish produce in Ireland. In 2019, it’s 13th year, over 2500 products were entered into its broad range of food and drink categories, for the chance to win their prestige and industry respected Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards.

Our Four Blas na hEireann Awards From Our 2019 Wins

We were delighted as our own branded fresh pesto, Pestle and Mortar landed a double win in the Pesto category!

Galmere Sun-Dried Tomato Red Pesto took the Gold, and their Green Basil Pesto took the Silver in the highly competitive sauces category.

The third award, came in the form of a Gold Award in the Soups: Chowder category, for their Signature Tastes & Inspired by Centra Seafood Chowder.

And, with further delight and surprise, Galmere was awarded “The Best in Galway” award, which is a monumentally proud moment for us, to receive this recognition.

It’s a delight for Galmere to be acknowledged by Blas na hEireann for their quality, and now Galmere has four awards to add to their display. They’re in great company amongst their 2013 Silver Award for Spicy Cous Cous & 2011 Gold Award for our Pesto.

We could not be more proud of and delighted for the talented team that works so hard at Galmere to create these award-winning foods.
