Donworth acquired Galmere and Taravale food businesses in 2013. Both specialised in the fresh food ready-to-eat and heat-and-eat sectors, key elements of the chilled food marketplace. Post-acquisition, these businesses have been restructured with production consolidated at the larger Galmere Ballybrit site in Galway, where a multi-year investment programme is driving capacity and efficiency. This investment programme has been supported by Enterprise Ireland.
